What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Develop cloud-based Python Django software products
- Write scalable code using Python programming language
- Integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic
- Work closely with UX and Front-end Developers
- Participate in architectural, design, and product discussions
- Design and create RESTful APIs for internal consumption
- Work in an agile environment following incremental and iterative solution delivery

What is Required (Qualifications):

- 6+ years of experience in Python coding skills
- 4+ years hands-on experience with the Django framework
- 4+ years of database skills in any relational database and 2+ years in PostgresSQL
- 3+ years of experience in building and using RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge of version control (i.e., GIT, SVN, etc.)
- Knowledge of XML/JSON
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure knowledge is a plus

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

- Experience in developing cloud-based software products
- Familiarity with other web frameworks such as Flask or Ruby on Rails
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
