What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide direct research support for various complex research projects in collaboration with faculty members
- Set up and perform experiments, including assays, cell/tissue culture, and animal studies
- Collaborate with investigators in writing research protocols and assisting in project design
- Supervise and train laboratory personnel, including technicians and students
- Develop and maintain operating procedures related to laboratory safety and project management

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related work experience in research support
- Experience in assisting researchers with complex projects
- Strong troubleshooting skills for laboratory equipment
- Ability to document research findings and contribute to publications
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in a laboratory setting

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field
- Experience in grant proposal development and securing research funding
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques and instrumentation procedures
