What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform penetration testing against complex environments, including external and internal engagements
- Document attack surfaces, threats, and vulnerability improvements based on assessments
- Conduct full assessments and threat modeling to identify control weaknesses
- Collaborate with clients' security teams to address findings and recommend remediations
- Maintain knowledge of modern penetration testing tools, techniques, and methodologies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in offensive security processes and cybersecurity operations
- 5+ years of experience using offensive security tools such as Cobalt Strike, Nessus, and Burp Suite Pro
- 5+ years of experience with general cybersecurity concepts, including vulnerability management and incident response
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on relationship building
- Ability to effectively train and share information across all levels of an organization
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Industry certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, PEN-300, WEB-300, or EXP-301
- Experience in consulting or mentoring roles within cybersecurity
