What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Write clean, performant code for backend data services REST API
- Support data access needs for multiple databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver valuable data to users
- Create and maintain API usage documentation and flow diagrams

What is Required (Qualifications):

- Development experience in web applications and backend API
- Knowledge of Javascript, Node.js, SQL, and NoSQL
- Experience with high-usage, high-throughput systems
- Experience improving application performance and database queries
- Familiarity with Amazon AWS services, Elasticsearch, and DynamoDB

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

- Ruby on Rails experience
- Familiarity with logging, tracking of methods, and performance testing
