Purpose of the Job

He/she performs validation and verification activities on functions and TC&IS sub-systems (TCMS ,PACIS) and components (SW, S&A) on the project assigned

Missions

Performance Measurement/KPI’s

• 100 % TC&IS requirements covered by test on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope
• 100% TC&IS requirements tests performed / all tests on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope
• On time delivery on all Verification & Test deliverables on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope
• REX formalised for each deviation on his/her deliverables: 0 missing REX on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope
• Level of application of standard Methodologies and Processes on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope : 100%
• Anomalies / change requests raised on train / CR raised on test bench under 5 % (quality of test performed on test bench) on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope

Responsibilities

Accountable for :

• Delivery of TC&IS verification & test procedures on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope, according to his / her Engineering Work Package.
• Deployment and application of Train Control & Information Solutions development procedures and processes on his / her project
• Responsible for :
• Delivery of Verification & Tests tools to be used during Validation Campaign
• Setting-up the verification & test environment applying the appropriate configuration
• Performing TC&IS verification and tests on PC, test-benches and trains
• Delivery of TC&IS verification & test reports on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope, SwOTS and SwOTR, SwFITS and SwFITR, SwCTS and SwCTR,
• Delivery of TC&IS coverage matrix on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope
• Configuration management of Verification & Test deliverables on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope : 100% deliverables properly managed into configuration database
• Management of validation status of change requests (CR) on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope : all CR status up-to-date in CR database (in line with test procedures and reports)
• Management of CR on the functions and sub-systems in his/her scope : all NOK results in test reports related to a CR.
• He/she is member of CCB meetings.

Education:

B.Tech or Masters in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering degree.

Relevant Experience Required:

• Typically minimum 4-5 years of work experience preferably in Rail, Automative, Aerospace Domain
• Advanced user of Embedded C with hands on product development life cycle .
• Hands on expeirnce with RTOS like:- Vxworks, Free RTOS, Linux, Windows & Compiler :- GCC

Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role

• Experience with Cybersecurity concepts, IEC62443, EN50657, EN50128 is desired
• Passionate for Embedded Domain.
• Experience to work in a global engineering environment based on a cross-site setup with collaborations jointly with engineering sites in Europe, UK and America
