What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers while serving as a point of contact on contracts
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies, including stakeholder mapping and spend analysis
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Participate in purchasing process improvement efforts and evaluate best purchasing methods
- Prepare purchase orders through the Coupa system, ensuring compliance with policies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of experience in purchasing cycles and buying processes
- Knowledge of purchasing regulations, legal compliance, and demonstrated negotiation skills
- Background in sourcing categories such as IT, Facilities, Legal, Marketing, HR, or Consultants
- Strong understanding of the veterinary health market is preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Ability to interpret key financial statements and components of ROTA
- Understanding of SWOT, TOWS Matrix, and/or Porter's Five Forces Model
- Experience in supplier relationship management strategies to maximize value
