What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support Category Managers in sourcing goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and leading the contracting process
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers, implementing contracts through the Coupa system
- Develop sourcing strategies and conduct spend analysis to identify business needs and market opportunities
- Maintain strong business relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, addressing any issues that arise
- Participate in purchasing process improvements, evaluating best purchasing methods and ensuring compliance with policies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of experience in purchasing cycles and buying processes
- Knowledge of purchasing regulations, legal compliance, and advanced negotiation skills
- Background in sourcing categories such as IT, Facilities, Legal, Marketing, HR, or Consultants
- Strong understanding of the veterinary health market is preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Ability to understand and interpret key financial statements
- Experience conducting SWOT analysis, TOWS Matrix, or Porter's Five Forces Model
