What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Conduct security assessments and implement best practices for application security and risk management
- Engage in incident and vulnerability management to identify and mitigate potential security risks
- Maintain knowledge of industry standards and emerging threats related to application security

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience with cloud and container platforms such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Tanzu/Cloud Foundry
- Strong understanding of web-related protocols and application models
- Basic coding knowledge in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or .NET
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in fields such as Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or Management/Computer Information Systems
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 web application security risks and mitigation strategies
- Experience with Agile development processes and DevSecOps practices
- Industry certifications in Application Security or Information Security
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Experience with securely implementing and managing cryptography
