What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct timely and accurate quality of care investigations in compliance with state requirements
- Perform quality monitoring activities, including medical record audits and health and safety assessments
- Implement quality strategies requiring near real-time clinical decision-making
- Support the development and revision of policies and procedures for quality management functions
- Identify opportunities for improvement in project/program activities and report gaps to management

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare, with at least 1 year in quality management and clinical quality investigations
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively interact with health plan clinical leaders and peers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, etc.)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of medical record abstraction experience
- 1 year of managed care experience
- Ability to work across all organizational levels, including with executive audiences and vendors
- Certified Professional in Health Quality (CPHQ)
