Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with compliance and accounting processes for real estate and personal property tax functions
- Review monthly real estate tax and personal property tax accounting and analyze results compared to financial forecasts
- Manage personal property tax outsourcing engagement
- Assist with research and market analysis for real estate tax appeals
- Work closely with employer's business partners to collect and analyze data
- Support tax accounting and forecasting processes
- Engage with governmental agents, external advisors, and financial statement auditors
- Research and analyze technical tax issues and support the team with tax audit matters

Job Requirements:
- Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Real Estate or related experience
- Minimum 2 years of Property Tax experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles; CPA is preferred
- Experience in using data and analytical tools including Excel, Alteryx and data visualization tools is preferred
- Experience with iTam and SAP, or similar tax software and general ledger system, is preferred

Work Arrangement:
- This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on employer's needs.
- A Hybrid work arrangement means the team member's core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location.
- A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location, and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.
- Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by employer.
