What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues related to networking, storage, and server software
- Engage with customers to understand their network topology and provide expert suggestions and solutions
- Participate in pre-sales activities, assisting sales engineers and business development teams
- Author technical documentation, including Application Notes, FAQs, and Troubleshooting Guides
- Develop and execute test cases using Python/Go to assist with internal quality assurance activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical support role or similar position
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent; Master's preferred
- Experience with SONiC network operating system and FRR stack
- Deep understanding of networking concepts, architecture, and protocols
- Proficiency in Linux and experience in C and scripting languages like Python/Go is a major plus
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CCIE in Switching or equivalent certification is a major plus
- Previous experience in customer interface roles
- Strong technical writing skills for creating documentation and guides
- Ability to work on a rotation basis during weekends, holidays, and off-business hours
