Job Purpose

Responsible for Account payable reviewing, Cash Flows, Ledgers, Audits, Reconciliation and prepare MIS.

Role Accountability

Accounts Payable

• Review of vendor invoices in terms of supporting, PO payment terms etc.
• TDS and other statutory compliances
• Discussion with project team in respect of invoices discrepancies if required.

Cash Flow

• Preparation of cash flow statement
• Keep track of cash position based on funds requirement.

General Ledger

• Review of P&L
• Review of open SRIR/GRIR
• Review of open balance

MIS

• Revenue MIS in terms of invoice information, amount received and ageing.
• Loan MIS - Loan balances, interest calculations
• Ad hoc MIS

Inter Co. reconciliation

• Handling Inter Co. reconciliation to have correct balances in books of accounts

Statutory Accounts / Management Accounts including Audit Support

• Assisting in finalization of statutory annual accounts - preparation of financials and getting the audit
  closure
• Assisting in Preparation of Quarterly/Half Yearly/Yearly management accounts
• Internal Audit – dealing with internal auditors in terms of documents requested and queries raised.

Qualification and Experience

• 6-8 Proven experience as Sr. Accountant or similar role.
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Awareness of business trends
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
