Stadium Events Intern (Summer 2024)

The Stadium Events Department helps facilitate all major events at Nissan Stadium including Concerts, Football Games (Titans & TSU), Family Entertainment (Monster Jam, Supercross). The Stadium Events Intern will assist the Stadium Events team with many operational tasks for all major events at the facility. The Stadium Events Intern will also assist with the planning & execution of stadium special & internal events.

This is a summer internship beginning early May and will conclude at or around August 1st. The Stadium Events Intern will be limited to 35 hours per week and will be paid at the rate of $18 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Stadium Events team with various operational tasks for all major events at the facility
• Assist in event day setup including floor signage, wristband signage, a-frame directional signage, building checks, pregame hospitality assistance
• Assist with preplanning and participate in meetings for ancillary events associated with the major events such as tailgates, VIP parties for concerts, etc.
• Participate and contribute to pre-event meetings for all major events
• Assist with the execution of Titans internal events by creating event materials and staffing
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. Pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Event Planning or related field preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds
• Must be able to work ALL major stadium events (this includes nights and weekends)
• Passion for working in the sports industry, positive attitude, strong work ethic, adaptability, and intellectual curiosity are required
