      Position Summary:

      In the position of Staff Accountant, you will prepare financial statements and reports, participate in the monthly and quarterly closing process and assist in the preparation of the SEC filings. Develops spreadsheet reports, verifies information, prepares journal entries, and reconciles accounts and balance sheets.

      Essential Job Functions:

      • Participate in various aspects of the monthly, quarterly closing process including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
      • Participate in the consolidation process of multiple subsidiaries including intercompany reconciliations and foreign currency accounting.
      • Assist in the preparation and timely filing of reports required with the SEC, including reports on 10-Q, 10-K and other filings. Produce clear and organized work papers that adequately support the Company’s SEC filings.
      • Conduct financial audits, assist with year-end audits.

      Position Requirements:

      • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of --Accounting, Finance, or similar field of study
      • Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting
      • Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in reading and analyzing financial reports
      • Computer Skills Desired: Strong proficiency in Excel. Preferred experience with Microsoft office package and SAP.
      • Preferred Certifications: N/A
      • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Understanding of US tax regulations

      Base Salary Ramge: $60,000 - $80,000
