We are looking for a Staff Analyst to calculate, prepare, and ensure prompt delivery of payroll adjustments in accordance with client requests and EP policies, procedures, and standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Input straightforward adjustments in accordance with client, employee, union, state, and federal requirements.
• Check edits.
• Gain knowledge of calculating and preparing adjustments.
• Gain knowledge of entering and maintaining the Adjustment queue in Sales force
• Have a complete understanding of the Payroll system, to include occupation and pay codes.
• Provide analysis where requested.
• Help to maintain all necessary files of adjustment copies/backups.
• Answer incoming calls and email requests.
• Ability to communicate with different people from multiple departments.
• Ability to see assistance where required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

• 3 years customer service/payroll experience
• Ability to research and analyze payroll documents.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Proficient with 10 key and data terminal keyboard.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to deal with time sensitive issues and stressful situations.
• Must be able to work in an office environment with noise, those associated with computer equipment, telephones and other employees talking.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
