What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist the Audit Senior Manager in conducting quality assurance reviews and updating policies and procedures
- Monitor progress of the internal audit plan and assist in the completion of the annual audit plan
- Develop reporting for management and board discussions
- Oversee audit work to ensure compliance with department policies and regulatory guidelines
- Conduct quality assurance assessments of internal audit work performed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- Active professional certification preferred (e.g., CIA, CFSA, or CPA)
- Minimum of two years of audit experience in an internal audit department and/or external audit firm
- Working knowledge of IIA Standards, GAAP, and federal/state regulations governing financial institutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills
