Our Company
Changing the world through digital experiences is what Adobe’s all about. We give everyone—from emerging artists to global brands—everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences! We’re passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.
We’re on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!
The opportunity
Are you excited about creativity and the future of creative tools? At Adobe, we strive to empower creatives with powerful software used in digital imaging, movies, illustration, and more. From the small details to big-picture feature concepts and long-term strategy, our work is put to the test by millions of creatives. We strive to enable creativity for more people in more places, every day. This is your chance to define creative tools for creative people, just like you!
The role
Adobe Design, our nearly 400-person product design group, is looking for a dedicated Staff Designer to join the Adobe Illustrator design team and help us evolve the Illustrator ecosystem. We work closely with business, marketing, engineering, and research to deeply understand customer needs and deliver the industry standard in vector tools across a diverse set of devices and surfaces. We’re seeking a designer who thinks holistically and uses modern tools to evaluate concepts quickly. One who favors interactive prototypes over flat mockups, and is willing to engage in both exploration of concepts and refinement of details. One with an inquisitive personality and the dream to evolve, craft and build Adobe Illustrator for the future.
What you'll do
Work alongside other designers, prototypers, engineers and product managers. Concept new features and evolve workflows to enhance the creative experience. Present design vision and strategy via sketches, storyboards, hi-fidelity mockups, and/or prototypes. Clearly articulate rationale, logic and research as supporting evidence for well thought through decisions. Lead, coach, and collaborate with other designers on the team as they work with you to deliver on this vision. Participate in peer design critiques to give and receive feedback.

The journey is just as important as a great finished product.
