What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop embedded software solutions from the architectural level down to the hardware
- Create software requirements from system requirements and develop architecture and design documentation
- Design, develop, test, and document embedded system software for new and existing products
- Collaborate with other engineers to integrate, debug, and test systems
- Mentor and direct other engineers while participating in product design reviews

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong programming skills in C and/or C++
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems and processors like ARM, TI, or ST
- Familiarity with communication systems and/or wireless protocols
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of I2C, SPI, Flash, EEPROM, and/or USB
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Familiarity with FDA and other medical regulatory environments
- Knowledge of wireless protocols like Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
- Understanding of Agile or other software development life cycle concepts
