What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, test, and document embedded system software for new and existing products
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements for medical product software
- Write and maintain design documentation and testing requirements
- Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams to meet design specifications
- Mentor and direct other engineers while communicating across multiple organizational levels

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong programming skills in C and/or C++
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems
- Familiarity with processors like ARM, TI, ST, or similar microcontrollers
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of I2C, SPI, Flash, EEPROM, and/or USB
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Familiarity with FDA and other medical regulatory environments
- Knowledge of wireless protocols like Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
- Understanding of Agile software development lifecycle concepts
