What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop embedded software solutions from the architectural level down to the hardware
- Create software requirements based on system specifications and develop design documentation
- Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards
- Integrate, debug, and test systems while participating in product design reviews
- Mentor and direct other engineers within the R&D team

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience
- Strong programming skills in C and/or C++
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) development
- Familiarity with communication systems and wireless protocols
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of I2C, SPI, Flash, EEPROM, and/or USB
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Familiarity with FDA and other medical regulatory environments
- Understanding of Agile or other software development life cycle concepts
- Object-oriented programming experience as implemented in C
