Job Description Summary:
Work multi-functionally to understand end-user needs and system requirements and mapping them to detailed embedded software and electrical design specifications and translating these into robust architecture and design elements. Embed electronics and software architecture definition. Board design and updates and design for critical features and functions. Lead and enable implementation of features as part of a multi-disciplinary R&D team (systems, electrical, mechanical, HF/usability and application software). Integrate and verify implemented features through unit and functional testing. Collaborate with other development teams for product integration and will interface both internally and externally to understand the clinical use cases, usability and system requirements. 100% telecommuting role. Reports to company headquarters in Franklin Lakes, NJ.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any) and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any) and six (6) years of experience, the employer will also accept a Master’s degree in Engineering (any) and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must have demonstrated experience with: Root File system; One of the following: Linux or real-time operating system; UI Test Suite; Auto Build and Test (ABAT) Suite; SW Release and build management; Graphical User Interface; Design Level Requirements, Inputs, Analysis and Verification; Software Impact and Risk Analysis; and Defect analysis and tracking.
Salary offered for the position is: $179,982.00 - $184,982.00/year.
