What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Provide Managed Detection and Response (MDR) security service to Palo Alto Networks' largest customers
- Own the incident lifecycle from outbreak to full remediation as part of a global Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Collaborate with different teams to provide critical feedback and improve products for customers
- Remediate and detect emerging threats by working with Security Research, Threat Intelligence, and Threat Hunting teams
- Analyze threat alerts from Cortex XSOAR and follow established processes for incident response

What is Required (Qualifications):

- 3+ years of experience in a multi-tiered SOC/IR/MDR team
- Proficiency in technologies such as EDR, SIEM, SOAR, and FW
- Deep understanding of attack trends and threat detection services
- Familiarity with security best practices and common emerging security threats
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Python programming experience
- Malware analysis experience
- Hands-on experience with XSOAR or Cortex XDR
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

- Previous experience in a healthcare-related service as an Rx Technician or Customer Service Representative
- Additional certifications in cybersecurity or related fields
