      Location: Orlando, Florida

      Schedule : M-F, evening shift 2:30-11pm, rotating weekends 9am-5:30pm, 5 shifts per week

      The Role:

      As a Staff Pharmacist , you are critical to ensuring our residents have the medications they need, when they need them.       Primary Responsibilities:

      • Accurately prepare medications for final dispensing to the patient, including filling, order entry, and packaging

      • Review completed orders and cycle-fill medications to ensure prescriptions were filled correctly

      • Verify the legality and pharmaceutical feasibility of dispensing a drug based on patients' allergies, i ncompatibilities with current medications, frequency of refills, etc.

      • Interpret prescription orders, to include exercising professional judgement in determining whether to dispense a particular prescription, taking into account patient safety and legal limitations

      Qualifications:

      • Licensed by the Florida Board of Pharmacy

      • NPI number preferred -Not mandatory for hire, required within first 90-day period of employment

      Skill s/ Abilities:

      • 1+ years of related experience

      • Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred

      • Great attention to detail and accuracy

      • Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate

      • Effective communicator

      • Quick and independent learner

      • QS1 or Framework LTC experience is a plus

      • Ability to multitask and prioritize
