What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software for board management controllers and orchestration software
- Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers
- Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with customers, project managers, and other engineers to ensure high-quality software
- Manage relationships with key vendors and partners
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering
- Solid C programming skills and in-depth understanding of the Linux kernel
- Prior experience with board bring-up and knowledge of X86 and ARM architectures
- Familiarity with common bus systems such as I2C, SPI, and UART
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with OpenBMC and real-time operating systems like ThreadX
- Knowledge of management protocols such as Redfish
- Hands-on experience with debugging tools and analyzers
- Experience with firmware development for PSoC or MCU
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills
