      Staff VP GHB Corp Development M&A

      Job Description:

      The Staff VP Corporate Development is a new staff VP role that will be focused on Mergers & Acquisitions to improve our ability to build and manage the M&A pipeline. This position will report to the SVP Corporate Development and be part of a restructure to provide a dedicated focus to growth.

      Preferred locations, New York City or Indianapolis.

      The Staff VP Corporate Development will be responsible for identifying, defining and developing business opportunities that will stimulate growth in alignment with business strategy and objectives.

      Primary Responsibilities:
      • Supports business growth initiatives by identifying and analyzing potential mergers, acquisitions and partnerships.
      • Lead strategic projects and initiatives to drive growth and shareholder value through investments, M&A, and partnerships.
      • Lead project teams focused on M&A and related projects, including target sourcing, interface with internal and external parties, financial analysis, due diligence, deal negotiation and integration.
      • Manage private equity, venture capital, investment bankers and various investor relationships as well as management of potential targets and partners.
      • Work closely with business senior leadership and matrix partners to develop non-organic growth strategies, landscape monitoring, and a proactive target strategy.
      • Leads all phases of diligence processes at a corporate level, while partnering with senior leaders to ensure benefits of transactions are realized.
      • Serves as a major contributor in the negotiation process.
      • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
      • Leads and manages an M&A staff.

      PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED
      An MBA and a minimum of 10 years of M&A experience, investment banking experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

      Extensive knowledge of US Payer Market and market development opportunities with a minimum of 8 years’ experience working with health plans.

      Ability to travel.


      Preferred:

      Versed/experienced in all aspects of due diligence including financial analysis and structuring of M&A transactions.
      Previous experience identifying and structuring potential mergers, acquisitions and/or partnerships in Healthcare

      For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $ 212,640 to $ 382,752
