Job Description
- Req#: 24-23566
- Maintain, rotate and distribute PPE stock at the Creedmoor PC PPE HUB to any of the 23 OMH facilities as needed to maintain a 30 day and 45 day peak burn xx supply (established by medical professionals during Covid) of 20 reportable PPE items.
- These include gloves, face masks (nitrile, N95 and USP800), disinfectants, hand sanitizer, etc.
- OMH is now required to report to CMS weekly.
- Included in this report is an affirmation that all PC's are at or above the minimum OMH required 45 day supply of PPE.
- PPE levels are constantly being maintained and that PC's are actively reviewing and maintaining this supply.
- OMH has a multifaceted approach to ensuring that PPE is available on an ongoing and short-term basis.
- OMH maintains an emergency supply of PPE (masks, gloves) at the Creedmoor PC PPE HUB.
- If there is a need for a sudden short-term resupply (while the required PPE is ordered from BPES) the emergency supply is sent to any of the 23 facilities as needed.
- HUB staff ensure that stock is rotated and kept fresh and arrange for shipment to any facility needing a short-term supply.
- Working in conjunction with BPES stock is rotated out of the HUB to facilities to insure that PPE on hand at the HUB is fresh.
- PPE at the HUB always has a prolonged shelf life as a hedge against the need to dispose of PPE that has expired.
