What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide automotive parts solutions for retail and wholesale customers both in-person and over the phone
- Assist team members with customer inquiries using automotive parts knowledge
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create positive experiences for store visitors
- Maintain a high-energy environment in a fast-paced retail setting
- Utilize technology, cash registers, telephones, and catalog systems effectively
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid Driver’s License
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn
- High School Diploma or GED; Technical or Trade school courses or degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening skills and empathy for customers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background or passion for the automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
- Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, or auto body/collision
- Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems
- ASE Certifications
