What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Implement the sales plan for an assigned set of strategic customers within a defined territory.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Strategic Account Plans based on purchasing behaviors, competitive dynamics, and district priorities.
- Promote the employer's value proposition through insight and implementation of plans that provide value to customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with various levels of contacts within strategic accounts, including administrative staff and school officials.
- Actively participate in a coordinated Team Sell strategy to achieve Strategic Account Plan objectives.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 0-3 years of successful outside sales experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, such as Salesforce.com.
- Acceptable driving record, valid driver's license, and insurance in a program-compliant automobile.
- Junior college or college degree in Business, Marketing, or Education preferred.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in sales process skills, including time management, territory management, and financial management.
- Ability to build networks, including social media platforms.
