- Research potential new business opportunities in the Process industry either through acquisitions or strategic alliances
- Study markets, customers, channels, product positioning, product diversifications and any other market or technology related business development activities
- Conduct due diligence (both technological and financial) on potential acquisition prospects and creating investment-grade evaluations on them
- Creates and maintains strategic planning model that supports the organization’s mission and values based on an internal and external needs assessment
- Monitor the external environment (market and competition) and seeing opportunities to fulfill the Business Units objectives and corporate strategy
- Set priorities and coordinate planning activities across all Business Units
- Serve as strategic liaison for key initiatives with Corporate and Final Control Group
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2+ years of experience.
- Consistent track record in business design and development in a dynamic corporate environment.
- Both creative and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to take new ideas-in both business and analysis-from conception to implementation.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
- Ability to travel domestically and globally approximately 10% of the time.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- Master’s degree in Business Management (MBA).
- Experience working in a matrixed organization.
- Prior experience in the Process Automation Industry.

You will be guiding the overall design, development, and communication of planning and business development activities that ensure market and technological competitiveness and organizational excellence by performing the following duties personally or through Business Unit colleagues. You are an individual who can be an independent problem solver but work effectively within a team and bring thorough analytical skills, eye for business and a sense for technology and industry trends.
