What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will provide functional process management activities to ensure optimal functioning of functional areas within Global Development Operations. Develop, manage and implement business processes, process improvements across the assigned GDO function.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong collaborative relationships with internal partners to support and respond to business needs including progress of functional goals and other functional process improvements.
• Partner with GDO Strategic Planning & Operations team to explore alignments in cross-functional processes and find innovative solutions that elevate the strategic values of Global Development Operations.
• Collaborate with GDO Functional Head to support organization wide initiatives including creating and managing organizational communication and staff engagement plans.
• Establish fit for purpose expense management strategies to support planning, tracking and reporting in Anaplan. Work closely with Finance partners to ensure appropriate budgeting process.
• Ensure adherence to corporate training and compliance requirements.
• Provide staff operations support including headcount management, open headcount/requisition tracking and reconciliations to ensure the best resource allocation aligned with the organization’s strategic direction.
• Manage organizational meetings including All-Staffs, Joint Leadership Teams, cross-functional collaborations and global operating reviews.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

Or

Master’s degree and 2 years of Project Management or leadership experience

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Project Management or leadership experience

Or

Associate’s degree and 10 years of Project Management or leadership experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Project Management or leadership experience

Minimum Requirements

• Requires strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools and processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal / relationship management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project management certification is preferred
• Experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools is a plus
• Experience in full lifecycle implementations
• Working knowledge of professional services suppliers, and outsourcing business models and tools
• Budget and project management experience preferred
• Biopharmaceutical industry experience
• Some understanding of clinical trials process
• Strong computer literacy, including word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications
• Strong facilitation, influencing, and negotiation skills particularly in a cross-functional environment
