- Lead Retail simplification program, driving execution and monitoring of initiatives owned at ExCom level.
- Supporting the definition, implementation, and execution of the 5-year strategy process for Retail.
- Research and reporting on key connected areas of external environment including market trends, competitor analysis and PESTLE.
- Develop 2024-2028 strategy materials and artefacts for a variety of audiences and stakeholders including Retail Excom and AXA UK Management Committee.
- Develop and lead governance/ QBR’s with initiative leads and ExCom sponsors to ensure the ongoing control of the Retail strategy.
- Work with initiative owners to develop metrics/OKR’s around the various strategy initiatives.
- Represent the Retail strategy in business forums as required to ensure decisions made are in line with Retail vision.
- Experience working in the Insurance/ Financial Services industry, preferably with a consulting firm background.
- Ability to quickly contribute and deliver the strategic thinking of AXA Retail. Strong technical understanding of insurance mechanism on claims, finance, reserving, reinsurance etc.
- Strong intellect with the ability to influence and develop relationships in a complex environment.
- High level of initiative and personal organisation.
- Ability to rapidly understand, assimilate, analyse and act on complex business and financial issues.
- Results and delivery focused with project management skills.
- Exercise sound judgement across a range of complex and diverse issues.
- Influencing skills, networking ability, interpersonal skills, political awareness, and stakeholder sensitivity.
- Work under pressure, flexible approach to work is a necessity.
- Competitive annual salary of up to £80,000 dependent on experience

!*!We're recruiting an experienced Strategy Lead to join AXA UK's Retail Strategy team, at an exciting time on their change and transformation journey. As Strategy Lead, you’ll support the Strategy Director and Retail business in developing and implementing the Retail strategy, focusing on 2024 to 2028.
You’ll influence overall strategy development as well as lead specific initiatives in greater depth which support business strategy, growth and profitability. Using your expertise to make an impact, influence and challenge stakeholders and contribute to the overall success of the AXA Retail strategy.
