What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform R&D utilizing additive manufacturing techniques to fabricate microchannel plates
- Utilize nano and micro-scale stereolithography to enhance photodetector and remote sensing instrument performance
- Fabricate microcapillary arrays using custom 3D printers, including mixing specialized photoresist
- Establish post-processing procedures and evaluate resulting structures using SEM, AFM, and profilometry
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and integrate with the team

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a directly related degree field
- 2-3 years of experience within the related undergraduate degree program
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
- Basic programming skills (Python, MATLAB, etc.)
- U.S. citizenship required due to government security investigation

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment
- Familiarity with ultra-high vacuum equipment
- Previous involvement in research projects related to space instrumentation
