      The Rural Readiness Network Assistant reports to the Director of the Office of Rural Prosperity (ORP) to advance the ORP's mission and programming. The Assistant role will facilitate the administration of ORP programming, grant reporting, and community support through project coordination, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement. The Assistant will support projects and engagement related to Rural Readiness Network programming around business and economic development. A proactive and versatile approach is essential to navigate the multifaceted responsibilities of this position successfully.

      Please Note: Employees who are employed in the Student Assistant classification are limited to working no more than 129 hours per month.

      LEO requires students to be enrolled in at least six credit hours each term. Summer attendance is not required. At the end of each semester, verification of course completion/grades may be obtained from each student.

      All work must be performed in the Michigan. If you currently reside outside of Michigan, you must relocate to Michigan to perform the duties of this position.

      Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational program with a minimum of 6 credit hours.
