What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop engaging content for social media platforms including X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
- Promote GFI events on campus and through various communication channels, including newsletters and an active website
- Write longer-form materials such as faculty profiles and research project summaries
- Support community-building efforts through innovative communications and events
- Provide staffing support for GFI events, capturing photo and video content

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Previous skills, training, or experience in marketing and communications
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Experience in designing and posting social media content
- Proficiency in using digital tools such as Drupal, Hootsuite, Emma, MS Office, and Google Drive
- Demonstrated time management, organizational, and communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience using graphic design software like Canva
- Previous internship or work experience in a related field
- Knowledge of food policy or related subjects
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
