Department Overview:

Required weekends
4-16 hours per weekend (dependent on your schedule, typically custodial staff work weekends with a variety of shifts from 8:00am- 8:00pm)Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:
$16.00/ per hour Number of Positions:
20 Qualifications:
Ability to work at either the Bakke Recreation & Wellbeing Center and/or the Nicholas Recreation Center.
Ability to obtain First Aid/ CPR/ AED Certification.
Ability to work weekends.
Communication, leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to balance academic and job responsibilities.
Must be able to attend department-wide and program specific trainings.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Self motivatedPosition Summary/Job Duties:
• Safely operate custodial cleaning equipment and machinery
• Wash and clean windows and mirrors
• Dusting fans and elevated surfaces
• Ensure proper enforcement of program and facility policies and procedures
• Communicate and interact with staff
• Complete necessary reports and track inventory levels
• Ability to problem solve and think critically
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team while staying motivated
• Learn to maintain attention to detail throughout various projects
• Experience in cleaning or caring for facilities/spacesPhysical Demands:
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
