We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Student Employment Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing exceptional service to our student employees and their managers at Texas A & M University.

      Your opportunities to contribute include:

      • Student Employment Guidance and Support: Serve as the go-to expert for student employment matters, providing guidance and support to HR professionals and colleagues across campus.
      • Human Resource Functions: Manage the Jobs for Aggies job board, approve actions in Workday, and assist in revising and implementing HR policies and procedures.
      • Event Planning: Plan and execute the annual part-time job fair.
      • Awards Coordination: Assist with the nomination and selection process for the Student Employee of the Year Award.


      Required Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • One year of human resource related experience.
      • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others

      Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include:

      • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
      • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
      • Ability to interact with customers and staff positively and professionally
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills
      • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
      • Working knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

      Salary : $50,100 annually - Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire’s experience.
