      Department Overview:

      The Division of Facilities Planning & Management (FP&M) is a full-spectrum service organization that builds, maintains, and operates the physical environment of the UW-Madison campus in support of the university's education, research, and outreach activities. FP&M works behind the scenes to coordinate campus planning, manage design and construction, maintain and operate buildings and grounds, supply utility services, ensure health and safety, and provide parking and transportation services. Our campus customers include anyone who works, studies, visits, or lives on campus.

      2:00pm – 8:00pm weekdays or weekends, 10:30pm - 4:30am on weekends, 4:30pm – 10:30pm weekday or weekends, 7:00am - 1:00pm on weekends. It will vary depending on the student's availability.

      -Great interpersonal communication skills, judgment, problem-solving, and strong client focus
      -Ability to work independently
      -Deadline-oriented, quality-oriented, and efficient

      Position Summary/Job Duties:

      Seeking an independent, self-motivated student employee to assist customers at the parking booth or dispatch office. Must have great communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft word and excel.

      Physical Demands:

      Use of PC computer/mouse/keyboard. Ability to work on-site. Mostly sitting down for 6 hours with options to stretch, stand up or walk within your work station.
