      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Prepare media for tissue culture and microbiology
      - Prepare laboratory solutions and maintain general laboratory cleanliness
      - Clean and sterilize glassware and process microbiological cultures for safe disposal
      - Conduct weekly testing of laboratory safety equipment
      - Assist in various laboratory maintenance tasks

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Must be a current or incoming student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, continuing at least through Spring 2026
      - Federal Work-Study funding is required
      - Experience in sterile technique and general laboratory procedures is beneficial, but training will be provided
      - Willingness to work cooperatively in a team and be comfortable with self-directed work
      - Ability to commit to a flexible schedule around classes

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Classroom experience in laboratory settings
      - Familiarity with microbiological cultures and laboratory safety protocols
