- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all areas of Charis Bible College, and be able to articulate it successfully.
- Facilitate platforms utilized to connect students with housing and employment resources in person and online (I.e., Charis Community Bulletin Official group on Facebook).
- Effectively and positively maintain relationships with local housing and employment providers that you network with to maintain up-to-date databases.
- Create and manage housing and employment resource databases for incoming and current students.
- Articulately advertise, via written and verbal communications, housing and employment opportunities through various public platforms to the student body, and one-on-one contact upon request.
- Collaborate, as needed, with the Marketing team to update the Relocation Guide that is provided to the student body of Charis.
- Assist the Student Relocation Supervisor with coordinating successful Relocation Fairs for students.
- Analytically research and assess student housing needs, utilizing data collected, such as types of housing, price ranges, preferred locations, leasing contract conditions, and more.
- Follow up with prospective students via phone and written communications in a timely and encouraging manner.
- Attentively enter and maintain student records data into the Customer Relationship Management software system.
- Assist in efficiently managing internal and external correspondence via the Relocation Mailbox and phone calls.
- Provide continual and exceptional support for the Enrollment team, acting as a resource to enhance the student experience.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of a healthy, spiritual community with students, staff, and faculty.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.

- Proactiveness in seeking improvements, providing assessments from consistencies found in data collection, and learning new methods and skills to contribute more effectively to the vision and mission of the Enrollment department.

- Conversational proficiency in speaking on the phone and email, leading one-on-one conversations, and using exceptional listening and problem-solving analysis with proper phone and email etiquette.

- Strong articulation in promoting the vision and mission of AWM/Charis in both writing and public speaking.
- Comprehensively operate a computer and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Adept in using all social media platforms.
- Competency in managing various tasks, communicating progress status with supervisor, and meeting deadlines successfully.
- High level of professionalism and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
- Professionalism and diplomacy in communications with various cultures and diversities.
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Must sign the Statement of Faith.
- A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
- Charis Bible College graduate is preferred.
- Must pass all required checks.
- A minimum of one year of administrative experience is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of customer service is preferred.
- Ministry experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of the real estate/rental industry is preferred.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Position Purpose:
The Student Relocation Specialist is a key member of the Admissions team, ensuring that incoming and current students have access to the resources they need to secure housing and/or employment in the local area. With so many students relocating to unfamiliar territory to follow the call of God on their lives to attend Charis Bible College’s Main Campus, the Relocation team plays an essential role in a student’s journey. Securing housing and employment can be one of the biggest perceived obstacles for students to overcome to start and complete their Charis education, which leads to changing their lives so they can change the world. The Student Relocation Specialist has the daily opportunity to join the encouragement and solution efforts of the ministry to introduce students to a unique, collegiate experience that can impactfully change their lives and launch them further into the purposes of God.
This position will be 40 hours per week & requires daytime availability, Monday through Friday.
Charis Hybrid Night or Hybrid Saturday students are encouraged to apply!
This position is on-site only; work from home is not available.
