What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with qualitative research tasks related to historical projects on U.S. Congress and cities
- Review congressional testimonies and information regarding hearings
- Conduct basic data collection and assist in creating graphs, figures, and tables
- Support the preparation of research documents for articles, reports, and presentations
- Help draft summaries and provide information for literature reviews

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Entry-level position with little to no prior experience required
- Familiarity with the subject area of American public policy is necessary
- Must be a student with a Federal Work Study (FWS) award for the current school year if applying for FWS positions
- Ability to perform basic administrative and research tasks under supervision
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Interest and basic background in American public policy topics, such as political science, history, sociology, American studies, or economics
