Utah Valley University is seeking a student to work On-call for the Student Life and Wellness Center!

• Working the control desk area.
• Greeting customers.
• Answering the phone.
• Assisting customers in signing into Student Life and Wellness Center and fitness classes.
• Process memberships and other payment programs.
• Maintain operation during operating hours.
• Keeping the Student Life and Wellness Center clean, and organized.
• Ensure proper knowledge of membership services and fees.
• Foster a healthy work environment with ability to work well with other Student Life and Wellness Center staff members.
• Provide exceptional customer service and provide facility tours.
• Serve the general population with equipment renting.
• Responsible for cash management and compliance.
• Supports recreation events and programs as needed.
• Responsible for customer service and supports area reservations or special events.

• Must be a current UVU student.
• High school diploma or equivalent or undergraduate degree–seeking student or individual.
• Must be able to work on-call with no set/committed hours.

• Basic computer knowledge and skills.
• Know policies and procedures as it relates to Member & Guest Services.
• Operate office machines and equipment.
• Organization and planning skills.
• Ability to work well with diverse group of people.
• Ability to be trained on new techniques and job responsibilities.
• Ability to comprehend, carry out, and explain verbal and written instructions or information.
