- Two or more years’ experience working in a similar role, preferably in a school setting, working with families across cultures.
- Experience with diverse populations; linguistically, racially, culturally, socio-economically and LGBTQ.
- OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Driver’s license.

These roles are made possible due to a reconfiguration of the cultural liaison roles formerly part of the Community Education department.
SUMMARY:
The Student Success Cultural Liaison plays a vital role in promoting understanding and building strong home-school partnerships. This year-round position operates within the context of learning and teaching at Hopkins Schools, guided by the Equity commitment. Our goal is to eliminate achievement and opportunity gaps by actively addressing disproportionality related to race, income, and language, as well as biased achievement tracking and patterned discrimination.
