What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical and computer support assistance to departments and customers
- Update and maintain the Institute for International Economic Policy (IIEP) website and blog
- Assist with the implementation of IIEP's Social Media Strategy
- Advise faculty and staff on technology use and support their digital needs
- Maintain technical systems and set up audiovisual or sound systems for events
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Some applicable educational, technical, or professional experience required
- Ability to provide customer service to individuals with technical issues
- Capacity to perform duties semi-autonomously on an ongoing basis
- Basic understanding of technology and computer systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior background in WordPress or Drupal
- Experience with CSS, JavaScript, and/or HTML
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and social media analytics (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization)
