      Outpatient MAT Opioid Treatment Program - Fully Remote (Wisconsin)

      Seeking: Substance Use Disorder Counselor

      SAC-IT, SAC, CSAC, LPC, LMFT, & LCSW

      Our Team:

      Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers (CTCs) proudly operate 15 outpatient Opioid Treatment Programs (OTPs) across Wisconsin. As the nation's leader in medication-assisted treatment (MAT), our compassionate counseling teams provide high-quality care and therapy to individuals on their journey to recovery from Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

      Full Time Remote Schedule: Monday - Friday: 5:30 AM - 1:00 PM, fully remote via telehealth

      • Before the fully remote schedule goes into effect: Remote hires may be required to complete the initial on-site training period at one of our 15 CTC clinics in Wisconsin (ranging from 60-90 days)
      • Experience: Considering candidates with extensive clinical telehealth experience and active credentials in the state of WI

      Your Job as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor:

      The Substance Use Disorder Counselor is instrumental in our patient’s treatment and recovery from opioid use disorder. Substance Use Disorder Counselors provide high quality, compassionate care through various mediums which include both individual and group counseling sessions.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Provide high quality, compassionate guidance in both individual and group counseling sessions.
      • Plan, oversee, facilitate and document patient's recovery.
      • Co-facilitate assigned group or family sessions as needed.
      • Ensure all documentation regarding patient care, treatment, and incidents is completed timely and in a clear, concise manner.
      • Prepare individual treatment plans for each assigned patient.
      • Initial assessments as well as follow up assessments.
      • Evaluate patient needs and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities are needed.
      • May plan for aftercare for assigned patients.
      • Provide crisis intervention to patients, as needed.
      • Provide case management duties for patients, ensuring individualized quality care as needed.
      • Act as a liaison between referral sources and patients, as needed.

      Qualifications

      Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

      • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in social or health services field required;
      • Prefer Bachelor's or Master’s degree in social or health services field;
      • Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
      • Prior experience and knowledge in an addiction recovery and/or MAT (medication assisted treatment) environment.
      • Considering candidates with extensive clinical telehealth experience and active credentials in the state of WI

      Licenses/Certifications:

      • SACIT or eligible is required (Wisconsin)
      • Also considering: SAC, CSAC, LPC, LMFT, & LCSW
