Full Day: $175/full day (7.5 hours which inclusive of a 30 minute duty free lunch break.)
Half Day: $90/half day (210 minutes or less)
Long Term Sub (21+ days in same assignment): $190/full day
Required materials when submitting application:- Valid California Teaching Credential, Substitute Teacher Permit, or meet eligibility requirements for a Substitute Teacher Permit
- Eligibilty requirements for a Substitute Teacher Permit: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree & Basic Skills Requirement (e.g. CBEST, ACT, SAT, or successful completion of University Level English, Reading, Writing, and Math courses reflected on an official transcript)
- Unofficial transcripts can be submitted with application for initial review for the basic skills evaluation
- Letter of Interest
- Resume
- 3 Current Letters of Recommendation (within the last 6 months)
- *All documents must be submitted via the online application to be considered during the screening process.
Upon hire the required materials include:- Copy of Current TB Test (upon employment)
- Fingerprints by the Lucia Mar Unified School District at the applicant's cost
- Verification of eligibility for employment, including picture ID
