SIFMA is currently looking for a Summer Intern. An internship at SIFMA gives candidates hands-on experience working on substantive and challenging projects, while collaborating with experts in the financial services industry and public policy arena.

Throughout the nine-week program, each intern will be assigned specific projects, to be completed by the program’s end and for which they will receive authorship credits.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree; Finance or Public Policy coursework highly desirable.
• Demonstration of excellent clerical, organizational, time management and written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical skills including a full working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with database use and functionality.
• Ability to prioritize tasks/workload.
• Demonstrates professional demeanor.
• Commitment to provide superior customer service with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients.
• Shows work effectiveness, persistency and commitment.

Hourly rate: $18 per hour
