      J ob Purpose:

      Aventiv Technologies offers a progressive style 12-week paid internship program designed to give students and recent graduates hands-on experience in all facets of our operations. Students will have exposure to working alongside our experienced leadership to help build our processes and keep the business running smoothly.

      The Community Engagement Data Analyst Intern will give you hands-on experience in all facets of our operations and a unique experience with technology for rehabilitative justice.

      This summer internship program is June through August and 100% remote with 10% travel required.

      Responsibilities

      Essential Duties:
      • Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data related to community engagement initiatives and government relations.
      • Support the development of reports and presentations that highlight key findings and recommendations for community engagement strategies.
      • Collaborate with the Community Engagement team to design and implement surveys and data collection tools to gather community feedback.
      • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community programs and outreach efforts using data-driven metrics.
      • Help maintain databases and data management systems to gather insights and build relationships with community members.
      • Conduct research to identify potential new stakeholders, including community organizations, advocacy groups, friends and family coalitions and local businesses that align with Aventiv's mission and values.
      • Establish feedback loops with stakeholders, government entities, and consumers to continuously improve community engagement strategies based on their input and content across multiple channels.
      • Present an overall understanding of learnings as the final capstone to senior leaders at the end of program.
      • Perform other duties as assigned.

      Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
      • Passion for community outreach
      • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
      • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
      • Ability to work across functional areas to achieve desired outcomes.
      • Proficient in analyzing and/or managing multiple streams of data.
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

      Qualifications

      Minimum Qualifications:
      • High School Diploma or GED
      • Currently enrolled in a Tech or Vocational schools, or currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration/Management, Public Affairs/Policy, Marketing, Communications, Political Science, or other related degree.

      Preferred Qualifications:
      • Prior internship experience.
      • Campus Involvement (clubs/organizations, work study, etc.)

      Physical Requirements:
      • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment. Occasionally, may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
