Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (List in order of importance; include any supervisory or management responsibilities)

• Support research coverage by analysts on their primary research coverage.
• Review company financial statements.
• Participate in earnings calls, company meetings, sell side meetings, and weekly team meetings.
• Update proprietary earnings, valuation models and/or other key models for investment teams.
• Review Corporate Sustainability Reports and update related proprietary templates and models.
• Participate in projects such as Quarterly Proprietary Global Property Sector Deep Dives in advance of earnings season.
• Facilitate fundamental business model assessment and valuation analysis of individual securities with analysts as part of a stock selection process.
• Performs other duties as required by investment team members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (education, experience, certifications, licenses, & skills required)

• Ability to work in Chicago, IL for an approximately 8-week period in a hybrid work environment.
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a preference for a student currently in their junior academic year with previous internship experience.
• Top academic performer who is comfortable in an unstructured environment that fosters creativity, maturity, and initiative.
• Understanding of cash flow modeling.
• Passion for investing and a competitive drive, with a baseline knowledge of investments and quantitative analysis.
• Ability to analyze a variety of information to quickly draw relevant conclusions and to summarize and communicate results in a time-sensitive manner.
• Experience with FactSet and/or Bloomberg a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented culture, with the ability to objectively influence others.
• Demonstrated quantitative and statistical ability.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Willingness to work in a hybrid work environment (i.e., a combination of in-office and remote work).
• Ability to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
• Ability to use a computer and perform repetitive motion activities.

Base Salary Range: $25.00 per hour

The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
