Madison family seeking childcare for Summer 2025.

Mon-Thurs 8:30am-4pm, Fri 8:30am-2:30pm

We are a two-mom family on the Northside of Madison looking for childcare in our home for our 5-year-old son for summer 2025. He is a sweet, inquisitive, curious, adventurous and active kiddo, and we’re looking for someone who can engage him in arts & crafts projects, encourage time of independent play, and take him on adventures to nearby outdoor areas – we are near many parks and outdoor spaces, and will be getting a summer pass to the pool. He was recently diagnosed with ADHD, so experience with ADHD is a big plus.

We will need someone who has their own car or can otherwise get themselves to our house.

We have two dogs, one of whom will be in a separate room while you are here, but the other (a 5lb chihuahua) may be out and about in the house (just an FYI for allergies/comfort-levels).

One of us works from home, with occasional trips into the office (or just out to work at a coffee shop/etc), so will often be in the house during the day while you are here.

Our ideal schedule would be 8:30am-4pm Monday-Thursday, and 8:30am-2:30pm Friday. Pay is $20 an hour, and we are looking for someone to begin Monday June 9th and continue through August 28th (may have some flexibility on start and end dates).

Students majoring in OT, early childhood ed, or similar encouraged to reach out.
