      The Park School Development Office seeks an enthusiastic summer intern for up to eight weeks of work supporting the fundraising and engagement efforts of the School. Responsibilities will vary, though the majority of the work will be focused on database projects in Raiser’s Edge. Schedule to be mutually agreed upon with some flexibility.

      Roles & Responsibilities

      Reporting to the Manager of Development Operations & Special Events, the Summer Intern for Development will:

      • Review and update database records, including address changes, constituency codes, donor listing preferences, etc.
      • Create and input new constituent records with accuracy and attention to detail
      • Provide support before and after events, including logistics coordination and follow-up tasks
      • Assist with general administrative tasks such as mailings, filing, and organizing digital or physical materials
      • Contribute to special projects aligned with the intern’s interests and skills, as needed

      Qualifications

      • High school diploma
      • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy, critical for successful database work
      • Strong organizational and time management skills
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Experience working with databases a plus
      • Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel) and the Google platform
      • Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality
      • Enthusiastic about working in a professional office environment
      • Dependable and committed to fulfilling responsibilities on time

      Physical Requirements

      • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time.
      • The ability to occasionally actively move about the office to access file cabinets and necessary supplies.
      • The ability to consistently operate a computer.
      • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
      • The ability to deploy situational awareness to preserve the safety of students and community members.
      • The ability to think independently and collaborate in a team environment.
      • The ability to lift and hold 15 lbs overhead.
      • The ability to occasionally transport (e.g., move or drag) 25 lbs.
      • The ability to maintain focus in an energetic and, at times, loud environment.
